Announcing Falkirk Food Futures Project, Including Falkirk Food Futures Fund Online Open Information Sessions
We are delighted to share some news with you all, Forth Environment Link (FEL) is launching a new project called Falkirk Food Futures, funded by the UK Government Community Renewal Fund. The Falkirk Food Futures project will work alongside community organisations, Falkirk Council, NHS Forth Valley, CVS Falkirk and local third sector partners to build a fairer, more resilient and sustainable food future for the region.
Local community groups will be able to apply for grants of between £5000-£30,000 to fund new or existing food projects, that seek to improve access to nutritious, affordable food in a sustainable and dignified way.
The fund will open for applications in early December. Information sessions on the fund and the application process have been developed to help you get the most out of the application process and to answer any questions you might have around the fund. During these sessions, we will also be asking for your input to help us shape aspects of the support programme, specifically around community skills and training needs.
If you want to come along, but none of these dates suit, let us know, we are happy to run additional sessions.
Forth Environment Link is looking for new Trustees to join the organisation and help shape our future direction as we emerge from the last 2 years of working within a global pandemic
